Donna Kloepfer is the General Manager of Battery Studios, Sony Music’s New York City-based mastering, archive and immersive audio studios. During her tenure at Sony, Donna has been involved in executing thousands of projects from reissues to new releases, with artists such as Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Leonard Cohen, Prince, Depeche Mode, H.E.R., and Doja Cat. She also leads a Global Studio Group and works across multiple divisions of the company and its labels to educate and advance Sony’s immersive audio technology and overall initiatives in both Atmos and 360RA. Prior to this, she managed Right Track Recording / Legacy Recording Studios a multi-location, six room facility that housed NYC’s largest orchestral scoring stage, working with artists such as Mariah Carey, David Bowie, Metallica, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, Ozzy Osbourne, Pat Matheny, Pharrell Williams, and film composers Carter Burwell, Julie Taymor, Rolf Kent, and George Fenton. Throughout her career she has worked with artists, producers, engineers and record executives in all genres of music in every facet of music production from conception to delivery. Donna holds a BA in Music from Hofstra University and an MBA from New York University.
