Clive Young is the co-content director of Mix and editor of MixOnline.com, and has covered pro audio as a journalist for decades. He is the author of 'Homemade Hollywood: Fans Behind The Camera' (Bloomsbury), an exploration of the “fan film” phenomenon that weaves together the histories of amateur filmmaking, pop-culture fandom, consumer technology and more. Additionally, he has spoken at 400 libraries, universities, museums and conventions, usually on music and cinema history. Young earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Hofstra University in 2016, and is an adjunct professor at St. Joseph’s University New York.
