Ceri classes himself as a professional enabler. Through his career in the Film Industry in London and LA; he sought to understand the aspects of the industry that the creatives shouldn't have to. At Dolby, he sought to make the toolsets accessible and useful for creatives in VR and then most famously in music. Ceri worked with labels, DSPs and engineers as they adopted Dolby Atmos for music, to integrate those tools and workflows into studios, both commercial and private, including many of those represented by our other participants. Ceri joined Apple Music following the launch of Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos, and amongst other things developed the team and process for the infamous Spatial Audio QC. He also defined a new form factor for the Listening Rooms that Artist and Label relations used to connect with the industry and understand all that Apple Music could offer including Spatial Audio. He left Apple recently to establish his independent operation, IMMERSV, where he is helping humans do great things together through immersive audio and surrounding fields.
