Those huge advances—in microphone technology, advanced RF, immersive creative tools, steerable P.A. systems and sometimes hundreds of spot speakers—then fueled, in turn, a creative explosion in the integration of music and sound design elements to help tell the story on stage. Which then led to more advances, and then even more creative experimentation. Audiences have noticed.
