In 2021, industry leaders Mix and Pro Sound News merged after 47 years of independent excellence. Today, they form the definitive, singular source for the pro audio market.

From engaging with the industry over the years, we realized there wasn’t a dedicated space for creatives and technology providers to exchange ideas, network among their peers, and celebrate this craft. This led to the launch of Mix Sound for Film & Television in 2014.

Now in its 13th year, it has become the premier industry event for the production and post-production sound communities, held each year at Sony Pictures Studios.

The success of Mix Presents Sound for Film & Television, the only event of its kind in the world, inspired the launch of the Mix Music Production series of events in New York, Nashville, and Los Angeles in 2022. All are based on the same simple concept: to provide a place where award-winning talent mingles with cutting-edge technologies—in a world-class facility—to create the future of sound.

Now in its fourth year, we’re excited to be heading back to Music Row. There’s nothing quite like the magic of Nashville, its world-class studios, and incomparable energy. We welcome producers, engineers, and musicians from around the world to hear from speakers behind some of the world's biggest music hits.
